The early evolution of Egyptian society, kingship, and beliefs regarding the afterlife are the main topics of the Prehistoric to the Second Intermediate Period (c. 3100 BCE–1550 BCE).
With artifacts from notable monarchs like Ramses II and Hatshepsut as well as temple artifacts, the New Kingdom (c. 1550 BCE–1069 BCE) exemplifies the height of Ancient Egypt's power.
The Third Intermediate to the Greco-Roman Period (c. 1069 BCE–400 CE) shows how Egypt adapted to foreign rule and how Egyptian and Greco-Roman customs were combined.
The full treasures from the boy king's tomb, including his golden mask, chariots, jewelry, and other artifacts, will be on display in the eagerly awaited Tutankhamun galleries. When its museum opens inside the GEM complex, the Khufu solar boat—an ancient Egyptian vessel—will also be a noteworthy exhibit.

A hanging obelisk, the enormous statue of Ramses II, statues of King Senusret I, and the architecture and views of the pyramids are currently available to visitors.
